I’m all aGlo!
November 1, 2009
I just ordered a copy of the Glo Bible, new Bible software put out by Zondervan just two weeks ago. I found out about Glo at the Wisconsin State Teacher’s Conference in a sectional about digital Bible study, led by Martin Spriggs. I was blown away by the amount of content found in this software. It includes maps, diagrams, CGI representation of things like the tabernacle, commentary on the bible, interviews, fine art images, interactive timelines and topical reference. I can’t wait to use it on my Smart Board in my Bible history lessons. I really feel it will help my lessons come alive and help the kids to understand more about the lessons we read.
I heard it was at a few stores in Milwaukee for $80. I looked for it on Amazon.com and found it for $50. After using my $20 gift certificate (Thanks, Jon and Erin!), I am able to get this with free shipping for $30. Awesome!
The following link takes you to youtube videos that Glo has posted that gives you detailed information on what Glo has to offer. It’s a pretty advanced but intuitive tool.
